Making Diabetes Manageable

Diabetes can seem like a mountain, but you don't need to climb it alone. Haiku has professionals here to hike it with you, and we brought the map.

Managing diabetes isn't just about counting carbs, taking medications, or checking your blood sugar—it's about not doing it alone. Sure, understanding your diet, exercise plan and glucometer is important, but it's the people around you who can make the real difference. Having a community means having someone to vent to when you're frustrated, someone to cheer you on when you're doing well, and someone who just gets it. Whether it's a fellow person with diabetes who's walking the same path or a healthcare professional who knows the science and cares about you, that connection can turn overwhelming into manageable. It's not just about what you know—it's about who's in it with you.

Online Program

Why We Created This Program

  • Too many people feel frustrated and confused about managing their blood sugar, even after years of trying.

  • Our goal is to make diabetes education doable and practical.

  • We built the program in a micro-learning format:

    • Short, clear lessons you can fit into real life, not just a perfect schedule.

  • Knowledge alone isn’t enough — that's why the program goes way beyond videos and handouts.

When you join, you’ll get access to:

  • Support groups for motivation and connection

  • Direct messaging for quick expert guidance

  • Blood sugar tracking tools to help you stay on top of your progress

  • Simple guides to uncover the “why” behind your numbers and make real changes

Our Focus:

  • Lower your A1C

  • Avoid complications

  • Build lasting confidence — one step at a time

  • All with friendly, empowering support at every stage.

  • Now accepting insurance!

Meeting with a dietitian and diabetes educator can be a game-changer in managing your diabetes. These experts will help you understand how different foods affect your blood sugar and guide you in creating diabetes-balanced meals that fit your lifestyle and preferences. Plus, they’ll offer tips on how to make healthier choices without feeling deprived. Regular follow-ups with a dietitian and diabetes educator have been shown to improve glycemic control significantly, but we understand money doesn’t grow on trees. That is why we have our weekly office hours for you to share your wins, ask questions, and get the support you need to feel more confident in managing your diabetes, reducing complications, and leading a healthier, more balanced life.

Individual Appointments

Personalized Support, When You Need It

  • One-on-one appointments are available to help you dive deep, talk through your goals, and build a personalized roadmap.

  • Weekly or Monthly sessions are typically offered during the first few months to kickstart your progress.

  • While individual sessions can be incredibly helpful, they are not the core of our program.

  • Sustainable change happens in the everyday moments, not just during monthly check-ins. However, insurance often only covers a limited number of sessions, which is why we offer more than just individual visits.

  • Our program focuses on:

    • Community support to keep you motivated

    • Easy access to expert guidance whenever you need it

    • Ongoing progress without the pressure of constant appointments

  • We’re here to build your confidence and capability, not just check a box.

  • Once you're ready, you’ll have a community to walk with you every step of the way.

  • Now accepting insurance! Click here to see if your insurance is included.

Diabetes Support Group

One of the biggest markers of success in managing blood sugar is having support. A support group provides a safe space to share experiences, ask questions, and receive emotional support. Talking to others, whether it's someone else with diabetes, a medical professional, or a diabetes specialist, can help you feel less alone and that you can manage your diabetes. Getting tips and tricks from others who have had similar experiences can give you more tools to manage your diabetes efficiently.

Our Support Group Village is included in all our online courses and individual appointments, and can also be purchased for less than the cost of a coffee per session.
